Your Daily Load covered the recording of this Oklahoma Commissioner- Mark Jennings-just a few days ago. It was not just Jennings who advocated for lynching Black citizens, there was also an Oklahoma Sheriff and a reporter who was a part of this conversation. Not only were they discussing bringing back lynching, but they also falsely claimed that Black residents have more freedoms and rights than white residents. Anyone who knows the history and present state of the United States is quite aware that this is in fact the opposite- white individuals have more freedoms and rights than their Black counterparts do. Additionally, the individuals in the recording discussed murdering a local reporter. Many crimes were clearly committed, and there is physical proof of these crimes thanks to the recording. The individuals involved in this recorded conversation not only need to resign but also, they need to face trial for the crimes they committed in this conversation.
