Still Believe the Protests in France are Solely About Retirement Age?

Nationwide Protests Continue in France

As protests continue in France (which I proudly support), the BlackRock headquarters in Paris was overtaken by protesters. While many are claiming that it is due to BlackRock's private pension fund, I however believe that average people are not as cretinous as the elite ruling force all over the globe believe. BlackRock, Vanguard, and JP Morgan are the three top investment/financial institutions in the entire world. These companies are definitely monopolies seeing as they own much of the world. These three institutions have huge stakes all over various industries. Where you shop, what mainstream media you consume, and even major pharmaceutical companies, all have major ties to these institutions. It is not a coincidence that French protesters targeted one of the richest institutions to have ever existed. Governments worldwide have been tightening their grip over control of their citizenry because they want to grasp what little power they have left. They are doing this because more people are seeing through the bullshit and realizing the gross abuse of power elected officials have been committing for years.

While protests in France erupted after President Macron announced pension reform was underway, I believe the people of France are standing up to the abuse governments exert over their populous. This is not the type of reform that would help the people in any means. No, this is the type of reform that is meant to exploit workers further.

All eyes are turned towards France right now, and it is a hopeful feeling seeing a nation become so unified over governmental overreach. America really needs to take some notes from the French.
